Keyboard Shortcuts. Most computer users know the keyboard shortcuts for copy ("Ctrl-C") and paste ("Ctrl-V"). In Google Docs, this works most of the time.
For those not using the latest version of anything (this does not work in Office 2003 for instance) you might try using AutoHotKey and this nugget: #v:: ; Strip formatting from the clipboard clipboard = %clipboard% SendPlay ^v return. This allows you to past striped text directly into any application by using Win-V instead of Ctrl-V.
Oct 3, 2017 · When I CTRL-C from Excel 365 it will CTRL-V to itself and to all these programs OK: MS Word 365; MS Word 2007; notepad. However, it will not paste any data to Excel 2007. When I CTRL-V to Excel 2007 it highlights the correct area of rows and columns, and overwrites all the cells with blanks.
Also, include as much information about your computer as possible, including the specs of your hardware, and/or the full make and model of your computer. It is also important to know what your full Windows version is, you can view that by going to the Settings app -> System -> About, and then it will be listed as the OS Build, for example 19042
Workaround #2, Customize Word to recognize the short-cuts you use (one by one) Go to Word options → Customize → Keyboard short-cuts (customize) → Categories → All commands. Select EditCopy, press Ctrl - C and click Assign. Repeat for EditPaste, EditUndo and any other action you want to fix. Share.
